Join us at the La Cucina Galbani Cooking Stage where Galbani's Celebrity Chef Marco, owner of Marco’s on Niagara and Marco’s Italian Deli in upstate New York, will be on hand to share his recipes and secrets for cooking authentic Italian food. The stage will also feature local chefs and have a cheese stick building contest for the kids.

Mark Sciortino “Chef Marco”, Galbani's Celebrity Chef and owner of Marco’s Italian Restaurant in Buffalo, NY, has been creating and serving traditional, family-favorite, Italian dishes for over 30 years. He also owns numerous Marco’s Italian Delis across Western New York, tagged as “Home of the Original SANGWICH!” which is a term used by many Italian communities in place of “sandwich”.

Chef Frank brings a local flair to the cooking stage. Best known as one of the original chefs at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, Chef Frank now donates his time cooking for friends, family and community. Frank also serves on the Italian American Heritage Foundation board.

Chef Umberto Pala, Vin Santo

Born and raised in Bergamo, Italy, in the Lombardi region, Chef Umberto brings extensive culinary training and experience to Vin Santo. As a young boy he loved spending time in the kitchen and began working in restaurants at age 14. As soon as he was of age, he began studies at the San Pellegrino Hotel School, where he completed the three-year culinary arts program. Cooking has become a lifelong occupation and passion.

His training, experience, and expertise brings a unique style to the authentic Italian plates served at Vin Santo. "Providing the freshest, highest quality food, service and ambiance" are Umberto's primary objectives.
